Weird Feeling in Ear - Help!

I had a weird feeling today in side of my ear, it sounded like a helecopter flying around in my left ear. Is this a twitch, have any of you felt this? Weird feeling and I hope not to have it again...

Yup, had it, thought there was a bug in my ear. The ear thing actually started about a year before anything else. Nothing creepier than thinking there is a bug in your ear!

Yes it's a twitch (or a bug ) That is one of the times it actually fooled me - I was convinced I had a moth in my ear the first time it happened. If you can lay down and relax your neck and jaw it sometimes helps (especially if there's someone to give you a neck/jaw massage ) -- also try putting some circular pressure just at the base of your skull while laying down.

Thanks for the replies, Bug would be a better description than a helecopter...Such a weird place to get a twitch, why would there be a muscle in there....lolAnd I will get my wife right on that AllGoodHere, I could use a good massage. )

I've gotten twitches inside my ear many, many times.

Get back when I think, it all started with my left ear!.It sounded like drums!

I get those too with the added bonus of tingling where it twitches, inside the ear, not a nice sensation, it's like having water there.Just wanted to know if you get these in both ears or just one?

Hi I had strange noise in my ear it sounds like a drum pounding..is that a ear twitch? Was weird but I would rather have it than tongue twitches.....wonder what will twitch next?

Ha thanks Randy, I've had it off and on in one ear for days...now I k ow what it is, I didn't know we had muscles in our ears...there you go...I've also had a buzzy nose.. seriously it's cracking me up today..twitching feet, legs and ear and buzzing nose.....and yes I don't think I would like my ear to go for days and days.....weird stuff this bfs..

I guess this can be the measure for BFS, very insensitive but very specific, not all people with bfs get ear twitches but when you get them for sure you're twitching somewhere else, i mean i don't know of anybody normal that twitches there ...
