Weaning Off Xanax and Zoloft

It sounds like you're on a very low dose of Xanax, stopping shouldn't be a problem. It's a nice med to have if you suddenly have an anxiety attack, just to get you through it.
Does the Zoloft help you? Do you think you should stop both at once? I guess if it were me I'd do the Xanax first and then wean off the Zoloft. If you're doing better perhaps the Zoloft is working. I know many of us hate being on medication, but sometimes it is helping more than we realize. Just a suggestion. I hope all goes well.

You are in my prayers but also wanted to say, yes you should come up any meds like these slowly, it will produce more anxiety and other symptoms. I know you were on a small dose, but for small doses you are suppose to take them every other day or even cut that one in half and take that every day and then go to every other. This is what the Dr. always told me.

I am weaning myself off of paxil also. I think it is poison to our bodies. I took a paxil that same night when my vision went and had burning sensations all over and then all of this started but who knows I was sick also..but anyway do what you think is best for you and the Lord will take care of you anyway....Jenn-God Bless you
