Wave-like Twitching in Thighs

hi thereSitting on my desk i just experience wavelike twitching in the thighs, very internal in the hamstrings. it really feels like a wave. does this sound familiar?

I don't even know what "wavelike" means really. Although, I'm willing to bet that many people if they hear that "wavelike", "windlike", "firelike", "earthquakelike" twitching is related to ALS then their twitching might be perceived as such. For that matter, muscle twitching in general would "feel" like muscle twitching, no matter what disease, syndrome, etc. is causing it...

thanks....i don't find another word than wavelike....it really feels like waves going through my upper leg, this is a very strange feeling and very different to the twitches i felt so far.....

Could it possibly be described like water rushing through a water hose?? Just curious?

My twitching comes in all different shapes, sizes, frequency, etc. Even after 5 years, every once in a while I'll "feel" something that catches my attention because it "feels" new and different.

no mommy, it really felt like the muscle is making waves...kind of shaking, strong but not visible....

I've had that happen before as well. It was earlier on in my calf.
