Watching & Seeking Symptoms Relief

I've been watching these threads for a while, and I posted a video of my fasciculations on YouTube. Can you guys tell me how this relates to the symptoms you're experiencing? It's been almost a year now that I've been having major muscle problems, and I will try absolutely anything to get better.

I get twitches in the upper body just like your video shows - in fact, in the exact same spots and I am getting them quite a bit lately. Like Troy says (ytewestGo99), they feel like a thump a lot of the time.

My fingers twitch too - a little differently than yours but I don't think you need to worry as this looks as BFS as BFS can be.

God Bless, Mark

How about your sternocleidomastoid? What about triggers in your sub-scapularis? I've got a great shoulder rotation stretch that I've used for clients with frozen shoulders...let's see if I can find it online...nope (figures)I'm not sure that I could explain it but if you know anyone who has the Windsor Pilates DVD set, it's on there (called the Pilates Circle Stretch)

If you get into your sub-scap from up in the armpit, that might help to release some of the triggers there. Hurts like a mother but it works

Shelley,
Do you recommend pilates for someone who has not worked out in awhile? Do you think pilates is good or should I do weights like I use to? I always wondered if pilates does really tone someone? Thanks..Jenn

Pilates is absolutely THE best toning exercise in my humble opinion! I've been teaching for 10 years (everything from step, yoga, Pilates, weights, aerobics), I've gotten in better shape from Pilates than anything else.

And yes, it's a great place to start because you can progress at your own level...and it's like using weights because you use your body weight
