Update on 9 Month Symptoms

Hey all just an update of my symptoms this all started 9 months ago persistent buzzing in left calf could not see it just feel it then all kinds of weird little sensations like hairs on skin or flys landing on me not twitches but sensations bad dizziness shaking extreme anxiety health anxiety also vison problems like floaters and occular migraines flashes etc .......then came the battery of doctors and tests I have had everything except a spinal tap and all of them are normal """No evidence of Disease""""emg showed a small fibrillation in one of my calfs but neuro seemed extremely fine with it guess it could be from my back anyhow no fasiculations ever picked up on emgs but trust me i get them everyday all day passed 3 clinicaL exams both emgs all bloodwork lupus,lyme,thyroid,cbc some test that checks for tumors and hiv test syphillis hep diabetes etc all clear urine etc etc etc visits by a primary care doc 2 of them 25 er visits couple cat scans a mri with and without contrast chest x rays all normal SO WHY DO I NOT FEEL NORMAL WHY DO I STILL WORRY THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG I TRULY FEEL THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG FAST FORWARD 9 MONTHS BEFORE ALL TWITCHING WAS PRETTY MUCH EVERYWHERE EXCEPT HANDS AND ARMS NOW MAINLY LEGS AND ARMS AND HANDS TWITCH DONT GET ME WRONG I TWITCH EVERYWHERE BUT THE PATTERNS CHANGE ALL THE TIME MY MUSCLES SEEM STRAINED LIKE THE SORENESS YA GET FROM WORKING OUT KINDA NOT REALLY SORE JUST DRAINED I GUESS I STILL WEIGH THE SAME AND ALL AND HAVE BEEN CLEARED BUT LIKE I SAID IM STILL FREAKED OUT SO I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON ON THIS BOARD HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ANY AL% OR M^ OR ANYTHING SERIOUS IS THIS TRUE??????BY THE WAY HERE IS MY BFS SCORE AT GO TO QUIZ.COM .....LOLYour BFS Score Is: 97% You have definitely gotten the full BFS experience! Living with benign fasciculation syndrome is annoying, stressful, and just plain not fun. But at least it is a benign condition. Based on your score, you've got full-blown BFS. Though only a doctor can tell you for sure.

Tripper,I find your post very interesting. You and I share similiar symptoms. Mine started August 2007 during a period of rigorous excercise. I had the hair on the face sensations, several eye floaters at once and the bodywide internal buzzing/shaking.....mostly in my legs though. I've also been cleared by a couple of solid neuros and have had all the tests come back normal. The original theory was that I was post viral.....now they are just calling me "unique".I wear contacts and in July of 2007 I came down with an eye infection....I have know idea if it had anything to do with how my body is now. Currently, I am left with bodywide muscle buzzing/vibrating and muscle fatigue. I also get bodywide twiches. My limbs also visibly shake upon minimal exertion. Can you tell me a little more about your symptoms? Do you doctors have any theories?Thanks,CDC

well i had a mrsa infection in my nose like a month prior to the onset as well as the flu my doctors really dont have any therories one said that i just have really sensitive muscles my other eye symptoms are and were after images trails kinda like tracers i suppose eye styes alot off and on also pain in bottom of feet joint pain tremors and the dizziness and of course the body wide twitching tightness feelings and more

Listen to this:If you have been cleared by a neuro then you are not neurological ill. Got it? Thats just the way it is. As an ALS-sufferer once wrote to number I dont know how many that asked the ALS-forum whether or not his twitching was ALS-related:-With ALS you shouldnt ask "prove to me that this aint ALS". Instead you should ask "prove to me that it IS ALS". But the reality is that if you where asking "prove to me that this is ALS", you wouldnt even come close to anything. No prove, no xm, nothing whatsoever point against an ALS dx. Nothing. But there you go: "prove to me that this aint ALS". With that attitude you could be spending a looong time investigating the never-answers outhere. Have fun!And BTW: without any significant weakness after just 3 months of twitching, you have a 95% all clear. NINETYFIVE PERCENT. And after nine months? Hmmm. Go do the math yourself, smarty.

Yes--it is frustrating-! With me--I had a bad case of the flu--mid November---! Then...right after flu cleared up--this "demon" came on-
