Unusual Calf Vibration - Advice Needed

A quick question:I periodically get a buzzing/vibrating sensation in the left side of my left calf. It is like someone is holding a vibrating cell phone against my calf--buzz, stop, buzz, stop, etc.I haven't noticed this elsewhere and it does not happen all the time, nor always when I am sitting in that position.Anybody else get this? Anything to be concerned about?Thanks,

I have had the same thing for years. Nothing to worry about. I described mine as someone holding a tuning fork to my body. I get them in various different places. I think they are something sensory, like a parasthesia of some sort. I told my neuro about them and she didn't show the least bit of concern. Hope this helps.Stacy

Hey hrb02 ~I'm not sure if you have the fear or **S that many of us do - or have at one point or another - on this site, but for some reassurance, sensory issues like vibrating/buzzing/parasthesia usually always points away from it. Very normal. As is twitching and cramping in case those pop up!
