Ugly Days Out: Feeding the Dog

8 weeks in with no end in sight and hardly a muscle left unaffected. A good day is twitching only. A bad day is twitching with the pains, cramps, and flickers in the shins. The ugly days include all of the above plus some symptoms (poor coordination, weakness, sever fatigue) that make you wonder if somethng more sinister is going on. Today was one of those days. I sneak outside to feed the dogs then head over to the kids jungle gym. I do a few pull-ups then hang for a few seconds using only one arm. I figure that if I can do this I'm probably not getting weak ( i weight 200lbs+), at least in the arms.Anyone else out there doing any bizarro muscle testing??I hope this lets up soon.

I have been twitching head to toe 13 years now. I also work out, and I too get periods of extreme tiredness and weakness. I have had every test in the book (multiple times) and SHAZAM Nothing

I do agree with Edado, I also started 1,5 years ago. Sometimes I have "goods"periods that I only feel a twitch here and there, last days, also shoulder and left leg quad, for a day. I don't have the fears anymore, but I never get really used to it. Since 1/4/07 ther has not been a day that it did not occupy my mind for at least one or two times. I picked up my life and don't bother other people and my family too much with it anymore. In june I climbed the Vatnajokull on Iceland with my son. (12 km up a 2 km climb and down, no problem), so I am still fysically fine. But the twitches and the cramps, never get really used to it. I think most of us will keep them till the end (I read some people already 13 years). Now I am 54, so I guess another 26 years.. ;)
