Hello fellow twitchers,
I've had my sensations since May last year, starting with a lot of twitching for 3-4 weeks. It calmed down but didn't disappear. instead I got tiny spasms in my limbs and joints, not visual to others but I felt them and had it for another 4-5 weeks, then it calmed down too but didn't disappear totally. So, during the summer I feared The Nasty One like most of you here. A natural thought when you're not an expert... and do the wrong thing of visiting the bad sites on Internet.
And now I've had these symptoms together with other intermittent things like my knee buckling, stiff thighs, strange headaches (2 times), aching arches and now something similar to "growing pain" in my feet, lower legs, hands and forearms. All of this others here seem to experience too.
I'm no longer afraid that it might be The Nasty One, because it just don't add up. I'm still able to jogg for 10-12 km, fold cartons with my hands, stand on my toes and so on. I have ruled out The Nasty One. But! I'm wondering about PD, I read somewhere that there are fuzzy symptoms prior to the cardinal ones (tremor and such), Does anyone know something about this?
I saw a neuro today, he didn't help me much. It was impossible to get through to him. Even though I told him I no longer am afraid of *** he still kept reassuring me I had no signs of weakness blablabla. "What about Parkinson" I asked. "You don't have Parkinson, you're too young" he replied. Say that to M J Fox... (I'm 37)
So again, does anyone have any information/knowledge to add to my PD-thoughts?
