Twitching & Pain: Relief Needed

I have had fasiculations( about 65% in legs the rest all over) for a while but I also have low back pain, leg weakness, joint pain and I noticed lately if I flex my right bicep and hold it, it starts to shake and twitch. This freaks me out. The bottom of my feet also hurt like crazy( feel like I have been running on gravel). At the end of the day my legs feel like I have been running, feet feel bruised and back feels sore and tired. It's literaly feeling tiresome to walk. If anyone can relate, please let me know.

I have had lower back pain for a few years now...every single day to some extent. I also have joint pain and foot problems as well. I know there are a lot of things that can affect your lower back and legs (posture, old sports injuries, shoes, etc.). I just now flexed my left bicep and held it for 5 seconds....shaking quite a bit.

BFS symptoms?...I've had those for 5.5 years. I've had back pain for probably 3 years or more. Both my arms shake when I flex my bicep...maybe that's normal? No, my feet don't feel bruised, and your pain could be due to any number of things. Bottom line is that you've had an EMG and been cleared by a neuro. You just need to get over your anxiety and things will get better.

I had the bruised feelings on the bottom of my feet for about three years straight, the feeling went away about a year before my BFS started. It got so bad at one point I could barely walk after getting home from work. I praise God that it finally went away...But now I have sharp pains that come and go in my feet. The tremors you are talking about effect me a great deal, after doing pushups my arms will tremor like a 90 year old woman coming off her meds. I still can lift and do all the same things but I tremor while doing it. I was told on here by a vetern that this will pass with time.As far as the low back pain, I hurt mine at work a few weeks before the BFS started. So yes I have lots of low back pain but I am not sure it is related to the BFS or not... Hope this helps some. God BlessRandy

I've had lower back pain for much longer than I've had BFS so I don't think they are related in my case. However, I definitely get shaky arms when flexing my muscles or doing pushups when I never did before. The strength is the same; there isn't any weakness but the shaking is certainly there. As for the feet, they've just recently been getting that bruised feeling and often it alternates with an odd numbness. Again, no loss of strength. Some days are better than others and that's what keeps me off the worry train. From what I've read here, there are no good days once **s begins its progression. Muscles don't feel weak, tired or shaky one day and then feel better the next day. So I guess this is just part of the BFS cycle for some folks?

Hey,I get lower back pain when playing squash or any kind of heavy impact game....I think its because im getting nice and plump. Before this started I actually hurt my back doing some very poor dead lifts....so i dunno where the connection is!

German, just read your post, as I don't frequent here much anymore. What you describe in your arm, I have too and my neuro assured me that twitching in a flexed muscle is completely normal. Wanted to pass that along.

Count me in too I generally just used to get the shaky arms and legs but now more recently within the last two weeks I have been experiencing lower back pain really sucks when it rains it pours eh!!!!!!!!!!
