Twitching, Muscle Pain, and Fears

Hi. Im twitching since february.I began twitching after i read about ALS.Before that ive had muscles pain and i was scare about a lot ofcancers (i thought that i have lung cancer etc.).I try to calm down. But I have a strange feeling in front of my calf, its something like tiny twitches. I also have cramps in my left leg but not so often.I have myoclonic jerks too and involuntary fingers and toes movement (caused by twitches?).I had one neuro exam. My neuro didnt find any signs of brain or nerves damage.I can play football and running too. But i have some muscles pain and paresthesias. My tongue looks like geographic tongue with teeth marks on sides...Is it common in bfs? I have painful pins and needles from time to time.Im 20 years old male, my name is Piotr.Please answer me

Hi my friend,You are young and you must get over those fears before its too late...(look at me i am 36).At your age i also got fears of serious illnesses and had tests. Once the test was OK then i was back to my "normal" life..Until i read or heard another story that would send back to panic mode.The problem with ALS is that there is no definite test that you can take to rule it off. BUT in your case you need to give the answer to yourself.You mentioned that everything started after you read about ALS. So please keep your mind away. In addition you are too young. If you start now then what is going to happen after 5 or 10 years when twitching will reappear to your muscles???This madness never stops. I suggest you get a good psychologist and discuss all your fears the soonest possible. You are still young and you can easily get out of it.Trust me.

I have the same sensations as you do. I think we are both OK. Keep playing football anddo not go on google and look up new things.
