Twitching & Multiple Limbs

Hello. I posted to this forum a few months ago, after I had been twitching for a couple of months. Then it was mostly concentrated in my right calf and right foot, and I was concerned with it being so focused in one area. Then after a while I also started twitchig in my left foot, and after that in my left calf. I also sometimes twitched in my right thigh area. During that time, I would get an occasional twitch throughout my body, but very seldomly. Now after 5 months of twitching, I'm getting random twitches in my left thumb, both of my upper arms and sholder areas, and random twitches on both sides of my back. I still have the lower body twitching (feet and legs), but I'm concerned because its now in my upper arms and back area. I wouldn't be as concerned if it had started in the other areas at the same time it had started in my right leg, but it started in my one leg, then spread to the other leg, then spread to my upper limbs, back, and shoulder areas.I had an EMG about 2 months into twitching but I'm afraid it was too early, because at that time I was only having twitching my right lower leg, and now it has spread to so many other places, as I mentioned above. After my previous postings, blood tests discovered I was deficient in Vitamin B12, B5, Carnitine, Iron, and Vitamin D. I have been on supplements now for two months to get these corrected. I'm afraid this new twitching isn't explained by these deficiencies, as I didn't get the twitches spreading to my upper body areas mentioned until after I had been on these supplements for a couple of months. In some ways I feel better since starting the supplements, but in other ways I feel worse. I'm wondering if I should get another EMG since the twitching seems to be spreading. If anyone has any knowledge or thoughts on this, I would really appreciate hearing them. I am really freaked out and worried about the way this twitching is spreading, especially after having already been on the supplements. Thanks for any help.Grace

BFSB,Thank you so much for your thorough and thoughtful reply. Seems like you have done a lot of research on this topic, and I really appreciate you sharing you knowledge and perspective. Even though it's hard when the twitching starts, I'll try to keep the important points you have taken the time to articulate in mind the next time I feel a twitch and start to worry about it.Thanks again for your kind response.Grace
