Hi! The feet are a very common site for twitching, and large twitches that move a whole toe may not even be fasciculations. I have thought about why the legs and feet are so prone to twitching. Well, they're farthest from the brain
More importantly, though, I wonder if it is because they bear the weight of our bodies throughout our daily lives, and many have noticed a correlation between exercise and twitching.
I also suspect that any of us who self-test by walking on our toes etc. may aggravate this. (Especially if you could stand to lose a few pounds, like me. According to the National Transportation Safety Board guidelines for field sobriety tests, police are not even supposed to bother administering tests to overweight suspected drunk drivers.)
My feet go through periods where my arch seems to twitch 24/7.
