I have been twitcing for almost a year now...comes and goes...some days I feel alot of twitching in hands and legs other days nothing....still praying this is not early Parkinson's since I don;t have the means right now to see a neurologist (ie insurance). Anyway, I was wondering...has anyone stopped twitching?? Does it just end? That sounds heavenly to me at this point. Thanks so much!

My twitching has almost stopped completely. I still get minor vibrations, but I barely notice them. It has been 2 months since I have seen a twich. Once in a while I have a day where I might experience 5-10 twitches. I can handle this alot better than the continual twitching I experienced for 5 months. Hang in there. I still think it is caused by a funky virus and has to run a very SLOW course???Who knows. Stress is a factor...

Yes - it can do - for me at least things have more or less gone.

I have kind of lost track of time now - the sypmtoms seemed to last a lifetime, but I think it was probably worsening over a year or so and then it started to get better. I did post on here - but now i can't remember the exact time scale - which shows how little it concerns me now..

Now it is getting on for two years after that horrible day when my thumb twitched all day by itself, I am more or less better. I have many days entirely free of twitches - it comes back with viruses on a minor scale and when I had a trauma when a friend died - it came back for a few days really badly.

I had quite severe symptoms - particularly pain and some fatigue. Now i do all sorts of sports again and am generally happy.

But the key for you is to learn to live with it and be happy anyway. get yourself properly checked out and then move on.

best wishes

Rich
