hey!i'm back again. last week i noticed a very tiny fluttering twitch between my index finger and my thumb on the top of my left hand.i just can see it but cannot feel it. it really scared me because it was so different from my other twitches (in calces, feet, thights of both legs) but it stopped. today i had the same experience. when i was sitting on the couch i watches my muscle between the inex finger and the thumb and it was doing the same thing. fluttering. i had an emg of 2 muscles in my left arm and the where clean. and i also have been to my neuro who told me that i don't have ***. but not this muscle was tested. i also had an hot spot on my left forearm for over a week. but it stopped. now i have also more twiches in my back and my left shoulder. i'm scared again.greeting

i had the same twitch last week. accidentally i looked at my right hand while typing and saw the twitch but didn´t feel it. every time i moved my index finger the twich stopped. i had the same kind of twitches on my forearms, feet and calves, also sometimes i have some i can feel but not see.... it´s bfs-normal!

more a twitch but very fast, the fluttering kind of twitches for me are more felt and not seen (mainly in my feet, soles and ankles)

Hi Tomato and SylviaI have the exact same twitch . I don't know why it scares me more than some of my other twitches but it really really does. I think this is because I can see it but not feel it and, like I said in another post about foot twitches, I don't mind twitching too much if I can feel it because it reassures me that the muscle is stong. I also associate this part of the body with ALS because my friend who has ALS noticed hand weakness (NOT twitching) as his first symptom, so psychologically I guess I have a sense of panic whenever I twitch there.Being logical though, I have had a twitch in this muscle on and off for over a year now and I am still ok. And I imagine that the real reason we can see but not feel this particular twitch is because (a) it is mild (b) it is in a small muscle. So I none of us really need to worry about the twitch in this particular muscle. Good luckRegardsSimon

Thanks for the helpful post, Tom. As you rightly say, our anxiety triggers do make us focus on some body parts more than others. Look after yourself and thanks again for posting.RegardsSimon
