Twitching in BFS - Is it Normal?

Does anyone know this:My calves and thighs are twitching. That's a common thing in BFS...OK...Some months ago the, muscle on the outsiside of my left hand started moving all the time (extension of the pinkie). When I keep my hand relaxed the muscle is contacting and a kind of twitching. More and more days I've a weird feeling in this part of my hand, like pain. Also buzzing sensations through the hand into the fingers. I think the muscle is a bit smaller than on the right one. Maybe because I'm right-hander?Yetserday I noticed, that also the muscle of the ball of the hand is twitching. All that made me worrying again. Do you have comparable discomforts?Could that be related to our biggest fear?ThanksAndy

AndyB,From my quick review of your hand problem, it sounds similar to mine. Search pamaris brevis spasm as discussed by a member Swift_TaySwift20.Krackersones

Andy,Simlar hand and muscle situation. Latest flare started 2 years ago. Have had this for 13 years. Still type 90 WPM. Hands can be very problematic because we use them for everything we do! I actually have visible atrophy in the pad of my left hand and have for 5 years, but no clinical weakness. You will be okay! Just keep telling yourself that you have muscle twitching and there is no muscle that cannot be affected by this! Stacy

Yes I also get this. As well as my twitching EVERYWHERE, I also get twticthing in my hands, normally in the ball of the hand as you descrobe and also twitching of my fingers which normally feels like it originates from furthr up my arm (around my elbow). Bit of a pain for me because I work in a lab and doing fine movements with my fingers is essential!

I have this spasms twitching too in the palm of my pinky side in both my hands, with pins and needles, the same as Krackersones and taylor for about 13 months now, I searched palmaris brevis spasm and mine look just like the picture.
