Twitching in Arm: Cause for Concern?

Thanks golf. It just freaked me out to have that pinky twitch for a week and then later have my forearm twitch several times last night. Because the spots were in the same arm and only eight inches apart I got worried they were connected.

Two questions: Did you have forearm and finger twitches occuring so closely together golf? Did you have soreness in that arm as well (or at least the perception of it)?

Odd thing is that I never notice this soreness when I am busy.

The muscles that contract your fingers are in your forearm. I’ve had every type of finger and forearm twitching and aching imaginable. They took well over a year to subside. There is no need to analyze the frequency, duration, location, or pattern. The sooner you get it into your head that a twitch is a twitch, the better off you’ll be. Just ignore them. If you’re lucky they’ll go away sometime in the next few months or few years, probably flaring up and subsiding many times in between, for no apparent reason.

It worries me because the twitches are all occuring in my right arm as opposed to none in the left arm (except for the left hand on occasion). I get light twitches in both legs but those dont worry me.

Is it normal for BFS to strike one arm pretty heavily and leave the other one alone?

probably so, now that I am worried about this right arm I noticed that today I have had twitches in my hand, forearm, finger, etc. on that arm, at least twenty or so.

In your experience (or any one else for that matter) does anxiety about them actually make them worse and appear more often?
