Twitching in ALS: Independent?

I have a question:it twitches in ALS independently of coughing and sneezing???When I cough and sneeze it twitches like crazy!!!!!!What about ALS?? There is the twitching independent from sneeze and cough???@ Germany: vill. can someone translate that to me is my question:wenn ich huste und niese und mich strecke - dann zucke ich wie verrückt!!Wie ist das bei der ALS???Ist das zucken dort unabhänging vom niesen husten und strecken?????Oder wird dies auch durch solche Vorgänge beeinflusst???thank you danke

Was Du beschreibst ist absolut normal für BFS und nicht ALS, es gibt hier ganz viele Beiträge die beschreiben dass man vom Husten und Niesen zuckt (meist Brustkorb, aber auch Zunge etc) und nach dem strecken geht es richtig los, ist ganz normal für Bfs.Just told her it is absolutely normal to twitch after coughing, sneezing and stretching

When I sneeze my right eye now twitches about 5-10 times every time and then stops. Also if I close eyes very much (strong close eyes) and open them, it does the same...Seems like my nervous system has gone havoc one october day

I will quote my GP whos has specialized himself in neurology;"that kind of twitching just underline the benign dx"he said that 3 years ago - hmmm - he is a clever man - im not dead yet - and in an hour Im going for my 5 km run - have a nice day all!

This happens to me all the time. I sneeze or cough and twitches go off everywhere.

I also get mad twitches all over when I cough or sneeze.. so strange feeling! but as long as they are benign i'm just fine with that little inconvience!
