Twitching for 3 Months: HELP

Ive been twitching on and off for 3 months.

I just had sugery to removed a cyst from my lower back and have been on my pain killers for 10 days.

I also have seen twiching in my left palm....that I havent seen yet..but no weakness..I did 20 pushups to make sure..and It was fine...I also just moved the day before my surgery and I could move extremely heavy things.

I hate worrying about this....but the twiches or movements are tiny and I cant feel them...my friend said he has had them before...and some of them just look like veins and blood moving underneath there..I cant see it in my right hand..

however I am left handed and my viens in the palm of my hand are more visible than the right hand..since I use it more.

I also have no weakness...maybe a cramp..not sure...but thats it.

however my first twitch was over 3 months ago...

my doc told me i would of fallen down or lost strengh before I had twitches...I guess my knowledge of als gets me worried.

so I had to vent.

I feel better now and am pretty sure nothing is wrong

Hi and welcome. I wanted to tell you that I have had very tiny twitches that I cannot see but only feel. They are all over my upperbody. I can only feel them when I have a long sleeved tighter shirt on. I have had them for almost a year and a half and nothing is wrong with me but good ole BFS.

You have no weakness, reflexes are good so I would not worry...Jenn

Yes *LS does start with weakness according to the text books and everything the Drs and neuros say but you try convincing people on this forum of that!

I wish I were convinced otherwise I would not be back in this cycle of worry, getting so obsessive about it I took a ruler to my face to see if my smile is becoming crooked.
