Twitching for 25 Years

Hi,I havent been here in a while but the result of 3 months straight of a constant twitch in my arm has brought me back. A quick little history on myself and fascics are that since I was about 9 years old (25 now) I have twitched all over my body, every day. From time to time in addition to the here and there through out the day all over my body twitching that I get, I will get a very fixated twitch in one muscle that will twitch constantly 100 times a minute 24/7 without stopping. I have developed this in my arm and it has been going full force for 3 months straight. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a situation like this before and how long it has lasted? Its extremely frustrating and it would just be nice to know if anyone else has gone through this. A couple years back I had a large twitch in my side that lasted 4 months without stopping. Something about this one seems to not be decreasing. Really hoping this doesnt turn into months and months longer than its already gone. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like from your history you could give alot of advice to people on this site, you obvioulsy are no stranger to muscle twitching. I have episodes where I can get a 100 twitches a minute in a muscle, but this was after my bfs was full blown and I would attempt to exercise, then certain muscle groups will fire off like this, but they will calm to tolerable twitching within a day or so. The only thing I can say is my right leg calf muscles has twitched 24/7 for 18 months, and my right quad now for about 6 months.

Bryce - your symptoms sound a lot like a member we had here months ago, Steve-Erickson - read his post Diagnosis: Carnitine Palmitoyltransferase II DeficiencyJust thought you might like to look it over......

I checked out Steves post. And I searched the internet for the Triheptanoin oil diet thing. I cant seem to find anything. Does anyone know where to get this stuff? I have no idea if this is the actual problem I have as it happens without exercising at all but anything is worth a shot. Thanks!
