but i dont know for sure. i bhave had a twitch in my calf for 20 years.about 4 years ago i developed a twitch in my right forarm. my doc sent me to a specialist and he did an emg and was checking for als. i was told it wasnt als 4 years ago. about six months back i went once again and again was told no als. Maybe nerve damage. but now my eyelids are twitching, left calf is out of control, both thumbs, and its makin me crazy. it never stops 24-7 even while im sleeping but not as bad. i was put on lexapro about 2 months ago and was feelin good then all this twitchin started about 2 weeks ago. i am going to see my doc next week i hope its just the lexapro but i am starting to think i might have bfs. at least i hope its that and not als. anyone have twitching NON STOP please let me know thanks
I have read here many times how SSRI's have actually caused, or made twitching worse. I guess if it makes you feel less anxious, and you don't mind twitching then it is no problem. It is, obviously, something you would have to decide for yourself.
