For the past two weeks I've had a twitch in my right middle finger. It almost feels like it's vibrating or being electrocuted. It jumps side to side and sometimes moves downward. The twitching sometimes goes for 1-3 seconds, stops for a second, then resumes for another second. Other times it is just a quick spasm. Some days it's almost constant, though I thought it stopped one day, but then sure enough it started again later that day. I am scared out of my mind that I have ALS, Parkinsons, or something awful. I had a cranial MRI a year ago for a vision problem (turned out to be ocular migraines), which was negative. I've had twitches that lasted for a few days in other parts of my body, but for some reason my finger really scares me. I'm just freaked out by the fact that it's been almost non stop in the same spot for weeks. I'd feel almost silly seeing a neurologist about it, but I'm scared witless anyway. Doesn't make much sense, but I can't help it. I'm 19 so I know ALS would be rare, but it can happen. I just wondered if anyone else has had similar finger twitching. Feel free to email me about it
