I need to know if somebody have twitching arches of feet and toes non stop for many months. mine is non stop since Oct.2007.wen I relax, my toes get crazy , they move side to side , up and down, I think it`s because the arches of my feet twitch very hard, I can see long lines . I am 9 month in it. I had an emg in 8 limbs, at the very begining, and neuro said it was fine, although the emg picked fasics and some giant mups in hallux aductor(arch of foot) but he said it`s normal for feet . The clinical was normal too.He was not concerned about that. He told me to come back in one year.I have random twitches in other parts of my body but not every day. Please I would like to know others experience with toes and feet twitching because mine never stop.Adri

Adri: I have had twitches in the arches of my feet that lasted for a couple of months. They are gone now. Also, read some of Sir_Trouserz's posts, this was apparently a big issue for her. Don't worry, though, you are fine!Cindy

thank you Cindy, you are very kind, I like to read your posts. I know you are fine too.Anybody else who can tell me experience with feet and toes twitching non stop for so many months ? I am twitching very bad non stop for 9 months, I am confused because my twitchings are not widspread. I mean, I may have some in my leg for some minutes or hours, then after several days I may have in my eyes, other day in my arms, but not every day, but feet and toes twitch like crazy, my toes moves very hard and even my whole feet may move side to side, It`s really scary.I would apreciate a response please.Excuse me for my english.

Adri,Alot of my twitching is in "hotspots" although I've have random as well. In reading this forum I think that I experience far more hotspots and for longer periods of time than most BFS'RS, (althought I've had BFS for a lot longer than most---30 plus years). Before investigating on the internet, I thought that longterm "hotspots" were very common in "whatever I had". My feet are a hotspot. When they're not twitching, they're buzzing and that's almost 24/7 for months, possibley years. I think even during my remissions my feet buzz ALOT. Initially I just noticed it after using a treadmill, etc. Now, it's so often that I don't even think about it. Best Wishes, Denise

My feet twitch 24/7--arches, bottoms, tops and toes. They feel like popcorn. I started twitching 18 months ago, and my feet have been constant for at least 1 year. It gets very annoying, but I try to just ignore. They also go through periods of bad cramping.

My left pinky toe is my hotspot... it is always twitching!! It has been twitching since Jan. 07 a year and a half on and off!!!!! The arches of my feet buzz, twitch, etc. all the time also. Funny you ask, b/c last night I was woken up b/c my toe started twitching so bad it actually woke me up and kept me up!!!!

Well, I'm actually terrorized by this new event in my 16 months twitching history. The forefoot/toes now twitch non-stop and there is a strange contracture feeling accompaining the twitches.I am not new to soles twitches, but absolutely new to toes twitches. My last EMG is dated 1 month ago circa. Negative.Judging from the 16 months trend of my symptoms I should say that there is something behind the twitches that is not just anxiety (and of course I'm anxious at the least from time to time). Doctors found nothing. So, it certainly happens. Why, I don't know!

Thank you very much for your answers.Hi Edado.I see that your toe is twitching now. Well As I told my feet had been my hotspot from the begining and my toes move like crazy, there is no day that my toes don`t move from side to side.I had my last appointment with my specialist neurologist one week ago, he made me a new clinical and he said I do not have als, he saw my toes moving and he was not concerned about it, he said I am ok and he didn´t even make a new Emg.He prescribed iron for me because he said my be the iron in my blood is not reaching my brain, although the iron in my blood is normal to low. I didn`t try it yet , when I do it I will post you and tell if something is better.thank youAdri
