Twitching Elbows: Relief?

Hi!I keep getting a twitch in my elbows that I can influence by slightly contracting my arm: It's a rapid fire twitch (about 10/s) that I can speed up by slightly activating the muscle. I guess it's not a contraction fasciculation because I can't provoke it by slightly contracting the muscle and it doesn't stop if I relax it...Can anyone relate?

Since June, I have had nonstop twitching in BOTH elbows. Its like they both have a little motor in them. For the most part, its the anconeus muscle in each elbow but at times its the whole area around my elbows that twitch, flutter, and feel like bugs crawling. Lately I started taking Tegretol which has seemed to have some effect on the twitching. For the past couple days I woke up and felt NO twitching for like a minute or so. But then both elbows started popping at the exact same time and then the rest of my body slowly started to do what its done for past 20 months. I don't know if this is exactly what you mean, but yes my elbows have been my most active muscles since June. -Matt
