Twitching Elbow: Diagnosis Needed

You want to show your brother or friend your elbow that has been twitching now for days and days, constantly....Ok, you're both staring at your elbow, but nothing happens. After 20sec you say "keep looking, it's twitching all the time normally" and than maybe 1 twitch happens.Your friend of brother gets bored with staring at your elbow and you wonder what is happening because "normally it's coooooooonstantly twitching but now when you want you show, almost nothing is happening".Your brother or friend politely smiles and says "I believe you, but ok, I'm done staring", and you are frustrated because nothing happened in this minute strangely enough and you roll up your sleeve. And right then, when he has stopped staring at your elbow, it starts to TWITCH AGAIN LIKE HELL.GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR    :mad:AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHI'm going mental, really. Can't take it anymore!!!!!!!!!

I know exactly what you are talking about. My foot and calves twitched 24/7 for 6 mos. The day I had my first neuro appt. I walked in and....nothing. Not one twitch. At that moment I realized that there was no way that I could have a nasty disease, there is no way that a disease would just stop like that. Anyway, it stayed gone for a few hours, but by night time it was back. Too late though-I was on to it. Ever since then I have viewed my BFS as a bully-annoying but goes away or diminishes if ignored. Every now and then my "bully" will pull a new trick out of his hat and try to scare me, but it isn't going to work!

However, mine doesnt go away when I ignore... ;)I wish it was that simple.....But it might diminish a little bit when you have a "welcome attitude towards it" "it's ok to twitch", so relaxation happens....But never goes away...
