Twitching Deltoid: Causes?

Hey all,The other day my right deltoid was twitching like crazy while I was having dinner. Pop Pop Pop non-stop, numerous times per second. As usual, it went away eventually (that night). Now, yesterday after working out, my left deltoid started doing the same thing, but it has not stopped. It almost feals like a fluttering type feeling....almost like a "thumper" but it is constantly going, even woke me up several times last night. As with each new thing it causes new fears and anxiety. I'm familiar with hot-spots (my calves are examples...they have never stopped I don't think) but this one is new to me. Anyone have twitching in their deltoids? Should this be concerning? I'm 10 months into this and I remember thinking at the beginning I can't wait to get this far along as it will be "proof" of nothing serious, yet here I am, same issues, although I have learned to deal with this much better than earlier on.Any comments about my deltoids would be greatly appreciated.Cheers,Michael

Hi MIchael,I do not have that but I read many times that other fellows complain for that. Search for deltoid as a keywords and you will find plenty of people with the same symptom.

Shoulders are proximal muscles are my most twitchy parts. It all started with deltoids - and where I twitch the least? In calves...

I have had fasciculations in my back everyday from the beginning (2+ years ago). I sometimes get really big thumping twitches back there but most are very subtle. I can feel them when leaning back in my chair. They migrate all over my back. -Matt

I have deltoid poppers that come and go. They seem to be the sporatic big thumper type. Also, not much with the calves here, so I don't know if that means anything. I'm with you on being frustrated that time hasn't removed all doubts. I'm 18 months in and back to being concerned again due to a droopy eyelid issue. When this started, I assumed that there is no chance I'd even think about it again after 6 months.
