Twitching Calf/Feet - Any Solutions?

Still twitching away in the SAME spot in my calf as well as twitches all over the calfs and feet.....Reading the "why you dont have ALS" posts kinda made me feel worse as they state that twitches will move from one spot to another etc but this one is not going at all......just staying in the same place of the calf surrounded by its mates who are tiwtching with it. Also last night i decided to sprint run, to see if my calfs would take it and guess what, after i had dont it they were so sore and i was limping abit.I am really starting to think that i am going to be number 2 on this board who has the big A. I dont have random twitches just ones in calfs and feet, i dont have good days.It is so frustrating having to wait until 18th November to see a specialist and be told what i have. Chris
 
ALS muscles don't get sore. They are dead. They can't feel sore. Remember that.And how could you be number two? There has never been number one.
 
i aws under the impression there was a woman on here who had ALS? if i am wrong i apoligise...ohhhh so does this mean i will be number 1 lol
 
There was a woman about 2-3 years ago named Carol who claimed to have ALS. That post, however, turned out to be a hoax. Go back and read the archives. She self diagnosed herself and later admitted it. She even apologized for it. But sadly, even to this day, people still refer to it as gospel.Other than that?*sound of crickets chirping**sound of tumbleweeds blowing*Guess what? You don't have ALS either.
 
ofcourse i really hope your right mate, ofcouse i do......just hard when to believe when i can feel this constant thumping and see my calf going like mad....then to feel it when i walk.....
 
Chris,My husband twitches constantly in his feet and calves. He does not even feel them or care. I found his 22 months ago when I started to twitch (I was searching for people that twitch) and he had never paid attention to them and still doesn't. His go 24/7. I was more concerned with mine because my feet and calves went all of the time with other twitches all over my body 24/7. I never thought anything of his. I believe alot of the population have it in their feet and calves but never pay any attention. You will see that you are FINE!!!!Sue
 
Thanks Sueboy but i think the difference between mine and ur hubbies is that i do feel them and they make my calf so so sore.Chris
 
Chris,My husband just does not pay attention. His calves and feet cramp quite often as well. That comes and goes. Hope that helps.Sue
