Twitching and Pain in Feet for 1½ Years

Having had twitching for about 1½ year - I wonder if anyone else are having problems with their feet. It seems that I have minor loss of muscle or fat tissue - can't really find out what is the case. I also have some pain in my feet when standing for a long time.

I have had a lot of doctors look at my feet both GP and neurologists and they say my feet look completely normal. I know that there has been some changes but it is apparently nothing serious. I can still run and walk with no problems.

Anyone with same issue ?.

Are you a runner?

I am, and I get sore heels quite a bit, but I also have low arches.

Do you were orthotics? I had problem with pain in my feet for years until I had custom orthotics made by a podiatrist.

I still get heel pain (esp. after long runs)

Another foot condition, especially if you are a runner, called Plantar Fasciitis can cause foot pain. It is very common in people who run or walk long distances.

Hope this helps.

Lars:

I haven't been tested for Lyme disease. My doctor basically thinks I'm nuts and told me to just live with my twitching when I brought up trying to investigate the Fibromyalgia angle. I am trying to get a new doctor, but in Canada your lucky if you even have one. So if you have a bad one which I do your stuck. Anyway thanks for the information. Maybe it is an angle you should try if you can. Thanks again

There is a good Lyme Doctor in my area and I am trying to get an appointment with her.

I went for a soccer-game yesterday evening and managed to play for about 45 minutes and did ok. I guess I should be fine when being able to play soccer.
