I totally understand your need to vent and hope you're doing okay. I'm sorry you're in such a dark place right now, but know that you will be better (I'm certain of this). As you know, so very many people have a huge increase in symptoms when they get sick (probably due to some sort of auto-immune nature to our BFS). So, not only are you dealing with your poor health right now but increased twitching, which adds fuel to the fire.As confident as I usually feel, the minute I have a new or exacerbated symptom, I start worrying again. It's in our nature, I think. Right now, the back of my right calf (where the majority of my twitching occurs) feels tight, like there's a pulled muscle there, and my mind has been spinning. I had to get back on here and search for "tight" or "stiff" muscles and found entry after entry on here, which relieves my mind (to a degree).Anyway, I hope you can feel that you can lean on people on this board, no matter what. I know sometimes people get argumentative with you on here, which I think is because you a) have a medical background and b) are still so worried despite the fact that you're 5 years into this. We figure you'd be the last person to doubt that you're dealing with is benign because of this. But, in reality, most of us, while we can be the "voice of reason" with others, are very doubtful and scared for ourselves when we get new symptoms (which almost all vets seem to get). We tend to think we're might be the exception to the rule (even if it's a 1 in a million chance). New or increased symptoms simply S&CK, that's all I can say. Please try to do something to make yourself feel a little better and I'm hoping your abdominal twitches stops or at least slows down. You're just dealing with a nasty hotspot in a weird area.Mitra
