Twitching and Bee Sting Pains: 5 Year Story

5 years ago I started having twitching and bee sting type pains all over my body. My twitching had to be in the hundreds, all over, every day. About a year after onset it died down. I was then diagnosed with possible chronic pancreatitis-not sure if its related, but doubtful. Anyway, I still get my twitches but not to the degree that it was when it started. However, in the past two wks-my right pointer finger and thumb have been twitching every day pretty much several times an hour. Even when Im typing, my pointer finger is twithing and that scares me. I thought BFS was when your muscle was at rest only? If it were BFS why would my pointer twitch as Im typing?I did have a recent nerve test and it was fine. However, would that rule out Parkinsons?

If you've just had pancreatitis , your bilirubin is likely higher than normal due to swelling near the bile ducts. I've noticed quite a few bfs folks with slightly elevated bilirubin, which leads me to think there's a connection with bilirubin and twitching. I myself have Gilbert's syndrome, and when I'm slightly jaundiced and it's flaring up, so does my twitching. It is all benign. I had a hotspot on my thumb for months, until I cut out gluten. Location doesn't matter, plentyof us get hand twitches. I even got it when in use, like you. As for Parkinson's, your neuro would've noticed and known exactly what to look for.
