Twitching and Aching Legs

Here I am again, still twitching, still hurting... My twitches seem to be mostly in my legs (both), but every once in a while, I will feel a twitch somewhere else. In my legs though, they never seem to go away. Also, my legs ache a lot, especially after I walk. I went shopping today (for about two hours) and after I came home, I felt like I couldn't walk, like I ran a marathon. As soon as I sat down, I felt better. My legs feel so tired! Is that considered weakness?? It seems that I can't walk as much as I could before because of the pain and stiffness. Anyone have this? Again, it worries me that the twitches are mostly in my legs and that's where the pain is...

This is VERY common in BFS. It isn't weakness - weakness means not being able to do things such as walk or rise from a chair. I have first hand experience of the muscle pains, twitching and tiredness. For me it lasted 2-3 months and now I have only occasional twitches in my legs.

Hang on in there!

Yes me too - I've had aches and twitches for about 18 months now, and I still get worried! but clinical weakness is not the same as perceived weakness: the fact that you could do your shopping in the first place shows that there aint nothing wrong as far as weakness goes. My legs are always aching - as does my lower back. Have you tried taking ibuprofen for the pain? Also, how's your mattress? I don't know if this is related, but I sleep on a very sagging foam mattress and maybe that's responsible. It's a shame I can't afford a new one :(

Thank you both for responding. I always feel better after coming here. Hopefully this will not get any worse.
Again, thanks!
