Hi,When I stretch my back seconds later I have twitches in several parts of my back. Does anyone else have twitches after stretching a body part.Is this normal?I also have it when I use a dumbell seconds later my arms and shoulder twitch even harder.Anyone?Thank you.

I always ALWAYS get twitching after I stretch a body part that has been at rest. Happens all over. Sorry bud, but again you're not unique with your symptoms.

thanks TMJ, I never experienced this before. But it's so weird after I stretch my back I twitch in it everywhere. I'm really having a hard time still believing this is bfs because I twitch so much and so violently the last weeks

Not only do I get this, but I also get my famous sneeze twitches, where I sneeze so hard that I set off a twitch in every single muscle in my torso. For me, it happens at least 9 or 10 times a day. That's just how BFS works, it is nothing to worry about.

I get back twitches too, especially right between my shoulder blades and right below them. These can actually be the most violent twitches of all for me, and they can definitely happen after stretching. I also get the sneeze twitch too! But in addition to getting the twitching in my torso (from the sneezing) I get it in my face too. This is really nothing to worry about Fredrick, this is classic BFS at its best...

FreddieTheFox, We have the same thing going on. Seriously, I twitch as much as you or more... not kidding, same places. Even today, my freaking scalp twitch is back on. I'm at it for almost 13 months now. Still can do all the same things. I'm also only 27, 26 when this started. How old are you. Yes, stretching makes my twitches go crazy. Sneezing, stretching, using hte muscles hard, whatever... Hyper freaking nerves man. Live for the day man... more of a chance of getting hit by a bus while walking across the street at 3 in the morning when only one car goes by every few hours. Seriously, Been in your shoes man, fought the good fight with the anxiety... Just need to say screw it, seriously... Long time twitchin, classic BFS onset, widespread nature, anxiety ridden thoughts instigating further twitching, etc, etc, etc... If you want to call me, PM me and we can talk about this thing. Seriously, been there, still there, not expecting this *beep* to end any time soon, but ok with it. E

I relate to every symptom described in this post. Thank god we have each other. If you have not experienced this yourself, it really does sound crazy. Knowing we are not alone and that there is some phenomenon out there whatever you want to label it (bfs, idiopathic neuropathy) is really the best treatment at this point.Krackersones

@ FreddieTheFox. Yes I get them when streching even when I don't mean to stretch like yawning. I get them especiallywhen I turn over in bed which was freaky for the first weeks. My back would start popping on one side. Sometimes my calf would do it to. I just now started getting them when I lay down to bed. It is really weird but part of the process.@parker - I get those scalp twitches, too. I even get them way back there. @Krackersones - I am thankful, too, for this website. It is so comforting to know that we are not alone.
