Twitching After Movements: Concern?

Hi,last week I started to notice that when I move the muscles involved twitch afterwards. For example:- Last week after I ran down the stairs, I stood for a short while and noticed that the muscles around my right knee started to twitch.- 2 days ago I picked up the remote and placed it somewhere else. Directly after the movement my left breast muscle started to twitch, the arm I grabbed the remote with.- Today I picked up the phone and directly after I held it to my ear, my right shoulder twitched. This are just some examples. As I told you, the twitches start to occur after I used the muscle involved with my movement. Besides, I still twitch 24/7 without any movement, I just noticed that.Did this ever occur to anyone of you?

Well it's pretty normal for me. I went on rather a strenuous walk last sunday and all night my legs were going nuts! I think it's probably common for most people here.

I've had that. Sometimes after I've "tested" a muscle it'll twitch, or sometimes just after using it. I think i'ts pretty normal - it is mentioned in the "nutshell" somewhere, too.Joanne

Funny I was just logging on to ask the same question, E.G for me pick up a box and my arms will twitch, or throw a ball and hands will twitch or use your shoulders and they will twitch. Is this what you mean.

Yeah this sounds very familiar. As I've paid attention to my body over the past couple months I've found that what I thought were purely random twitches seem to be more correlated with use. When I 1st wake up in the AM, I have that great initial, fleeting feeling of no twitches. Once I start stirring I notice the twitches start. I'm sure that the reason I seem to get them more in the hands/fingers is b/c I am constantly using them. I find that it is more often the "light" uses of muscles that trigger the twitches. That is when I am only slightly using the muscle to do something that doesn't require a lot of strength. Like holding a newspaper - or reaching for something. If I lift something heavy, or do serious running/walking, I notice the twitches less.
