Twitching After Movement

Have twitching that is brought on by moving their muscles? It seems my worst twitching is brought on directly after movement. E.g. If I yawn it uses lots of muscles in my face and then my eyes start twitching, so does my chest, neck etc.. In the same fashion if I sneeze I get twitches across my abodomen, diaphragm, ribs.. If I pick up an object and hold it after I put it down my arm will start twitching etc This happens in basically all of my muscles. It's driving me insane and makes me feel like I don't want to move any more, does anyone else get this?Just as an aside I'm new, So Hi guys. I've been twitching for about 5 months now. It has got progressively worse (more frequent and stronger). I am also experiencing aching all the time, forearms, shins, ankles and experiencing terrible sleep disorders that I have never had. I twitch constantly - all over body, there is never a spare second where something isn't twitching. I have my first appointment with a neuro next monday after a few visits to my gp and some blood work that all came back clean. I'm hoping they can shed some light on this.

yes, i sometimes get the twitches after movement and sometimes it seems more random.. in fact, i would say the movement related type are only about 20 percent or so,,,

Thanks for your replies guys, it is reassuring. My appointment with the neuro went fine. He had me do some very simple strength tests, standing up, walking, resistance tests etc. The tasks he made me do were very simple, which made me think that in real cases of MND it would extremely hard to gather any strength.I also saw him write down: "Possible BFS??" on the sheet which was a relief.Anyway, he sent me for MORE bloodwork, about 15 different blood tests, an X-ray of my right arm (to see if the numbness I have been experiencing was due to carpal tunnel) and also an EMG, NCS (which is today).I have my follow up appointment with the Neuro on Jan 18th to get all the tests results back. Fingers crossed.

standardized Lyme serology in the US has a high rate of false negatives ... I used these guys .. I have spoken with them a few times and heard testimonials from people who were diagnosed and treated and got better though the western blot was negative... My own Dr's nurse practitioners brother in law is one of them.. If anyone here was to get treatment for Lyme I would hop that they would work with a Lyme Literate physician who could prescribe antibiotics with the lesser neurological side effects and lesser anti-neoplastic properties.

Glad you mentioned the twitching after muscle use. I get ti too. In fact I have a rotten cold at the minute and im coughing and spluttering like mad. After I cough or sneeze my stomach muscles twitch.I can bring on twitches in my hand / forearm by squeezing my hand really hard for a few seconds. My right calf aches especially FTR. Just a dull passive ache.

So I had my follow up with my neuro and got my results back, Turns out everything came back clean - Clean blood work, clean EMG / NCS and clean xrays. My twitching is still exactly the same as it was, which isn't a bad thing as it was getting progressively worse for a long time. I still twitch 24/7 pretty much everywhere but I've learnt to ignore it mostly. The only thing that has got worse are my sleep disturbences. I wake from nightmares 2 or 3 times a night now. I told my neuro but he still hasn't given me any sleeping tablets. Anyway now he is sending me for an MRI, so I guess just one more test to go and then I don't have to worry about it anymore!
