Twitching Across Hands and Forearm

Yesterday I was having a relatively good twitching day. However, last night I had twitches to the right forearm, triceps, and, here the news, to the ulnar side of my hand strong enought to move my little finger. The twitches did wake me up at night, power as they were. Always yesterday evening, for the first time ever, had twitches to the dorsal aspect of my hand on the left, between thumb and index. This afternoon, the twitches were located in the same site, but on the right hand and strong enough to move my index.I must say, it isn't nice at all.

We stared the same date ! Also april 07. The fascics you describe sounds very familiar and sometimes for hours going on. Its funny to see your fingers move. I just ignore it and don't spent time to it anymore. I am 53 and told my neuro I would come back when I needed a rollator ;). He can't do anything for me, no matter wether its bad or not (and it is not bad) , so I stopped bothering.

This could very possibly be ulnar nerve entrapment. The area on the top side of your hand between your index finger and thumb is controlled by the ulnar nerve. So is the hypothenar eminence, where you said you were also having problems. This area was the first area to twitch for me, followed by the thenar.

I have had them, moves my thumb and index finger. Don't worry, they lasted about 3 days then moved on to somewhere else. It is very scarey and annoying, but they went away like the others.Terri
