Twitching: 13 Months Later

Hey Everyone,
I have'nt been here for a while because I have been VERY busy with work and a new house but I figured I would stop by and say hello.

Still the same after about 13 months since my 1st doctors appointment about my twitching. Still twitch constantly, I just don't notice them as much. Still have the twitching eye (nystagmus) but I try not to let it bother me. It still freaks me out from time to time. Still have the week right hand. It has been weak for about 13 straight months. Not severe, just clumsy and not as strong as my right. It has not become worse, but will slightly get better from time to time.

I still sometimes worry about paraneoplastic condition, but really that is my only worry. It is the nystagmus that still throws me off. Everywhere I have read, nystgamus is a symptom of serious neurological or paraneoplastic conditions. It is not a begnign symtpom. Guess time will tell. My doctor is not concerened about it.

My lightheadness has pretty much dissapeared. I have been off Zoloft for about 3 months now. Although I am considering going back on.

Hope everyone is doing fine, I am doing O.K. with all of this. Not great, not bad, just O.K..

It is fun to look at some of your posts again. Basso still has his sense of humor and Troy, Sue, ristinaL91, and many other veterans are still here supporting everyone.

Hope eveyone has a good holiday. We got 14 inches in Chicago here today. Should take me about 3 hours to drive 27 miles home tonight from work.

Klag,
Glad to see you here again. I was getting worried about you when you dissapeared. Hope things are much better for you.

For all of you in warm wheather climates, I should specify that I meant 14 inches of snow in my previous post.

Had to clarify before Basso throws in one of his perverted jokes. Man, do I know you Basso or what?

Wolv,
I was fixin to beat Basso to it, LOL. (No pun intended...or who knows?) ;)

It is SOOO nice to see your cyber-face here again and to hear that you are doing so well.

I know online that nystagmus can look a bit grim, however, it can occur for absolutely no reason at all, as well as with inner ear conditions, etc.

My husband totally has it, I can even see it, and he is fine. He has bfs like us.

If we don't hear from you, have a great holiday in your great new house.

Blessings,
Sue

Thanks Sue,

Your post "Caption this" is the best post ever. I laugh out loud when I read it. I come back from time to time just ot read it.

The nystagmus thing doesn't freak me out anymore. It has gotten much better. But sometimes my mind slips to the negative side about it if I notice it. I don't freak about it continuously like I used to though. You helped me big time through that scare.

I should of stated Sue or Basso in that previous post. You have a similiar sense of humor. You guys crack me up.

I was laughing to myself just thinking of the way Basso might respond to that comment.

Thanks again for the support. Hope your holiday is great also.
