Twitch Persistence: Common & Long-Lasting

Yes, I had a twitch in my left hand below my pinky for about 6 months. Then it faded away, but occasionally acts up. I also had a persistant twitch in my left elbow, but it went away after about a year and a half.

The moral of the story is that hot spots are common. Remember, your nerve endings are likely irritated, and this irritation can persist if the cause of the irritation (autoimmune response?) is still there.

Do you get any pain with your thumb twitch? Or a spasm? I do. I am very depressed right now feeling hopeless. My thumb even feels a little weaker than the other. Had 2 EMG's last year which showed no Carpal tunnel......So of course I think it must be The bad one.
