Hey alli was just wondering if there is anything to the fact that i sleep with the TV on all night longis my brain being overstimulated as i sleep? Hence the BFS? just a wishfull thought--if mine is true BFS its definitely in overdriveshocks and twitches down to the bottoms of my feet as well as my calves are twitching closer to the achillis heel/tendon -(never had that bfore)David

I don't know that TV affects me in that way, but I will say that I get twitches in my heel/ankle/foot area all the darn time. This morning when i sat down at my desk, that area of my left leg was going bonkers with twitches. Ain't no thang.

I read once that it does affect you. Your subconscious memorizes the sounds and words (not good if there is a lot of shooting or yelling going on) Don´t know if it has any effect on your twitches. but it´s a thought.

My guess would be no.Unless it is interfering with your sleep in subtle ways, i.e. if you are waking up a lot and not realizing it.Lack of restful sleep will definitely make BFS symptoms worse.

Sorry David, dont believe the TV one..unless I am perhaps watching something ( not sleeping) that stimulates the nervous system into action! ;) Just a bad BFS patch I reckon, and sometimes there is no rhyme nor reason as to why....it just happens!cheersRodgerPS you think too much! ;)

With fear of going off topic, I fall asleep in front of the TV fairly often. I find it so decadent in a strange way. Then about 1:00 I go upstairs and go to bed.

I have slept with a T.V. on every single night of my life since the age of 5. It helps me sleep, I dont handle silence very well. My ears tend to ring when things are too quiet. I keep the T.V. down but enjoy going to sleep to some of my old time favorites like Threes Company and Rosanne :D)
