Trying to Cope with BFS

I've been diagnosed with BFS about 10 years. My onset symptoms started in college and included sporadic muscle twitches throughout the body, sensory symptoms (tingling, electrical shock sensation) and cracking sensations in fingers/hand. Over the years these symptoms have waxed and waned. At times I feel I am without symptoms and the BFS thought is nothing but a fleeting memory. At other times I'll get a persistent twitch, tingling fingers or a jerking finger. For the most part it's been fairly easy to cope with. When new symptoms present is when I get a bit anxious. Last April I started seeing a some finger twitching/jerks in my left hand. That was a new one. That symptom has reduced in frequency coming up on one year and I've "shook it off". Now last night something triggered toe twitches and a constant overall buzzing feeling through the arms/legs and my forehead area. Prior to this I was only seeing the occasional twitch or jerk. What brought this on? Needless to say I was disturbed enough and could not sleep more than two hours. It goes to show that BFS is a sneaky syndrome that can lie dormant and rear it's annoying head unexpectedly! Can anyone else relate to a period of dormancy and very minor issues, then be blasted with some really consistent symptoms out of nowhere? Sometimes even what I consider new symptoms?? My forehead buzzing sensation is really annoying me the past few days.

Yes, I have had them dissapear completely for weeks even months at a time only to come back with a vengence. It usually comes on after stress. I beleive my body is just overworked from stress and this is how it deals. I also think that the anti depressent (paxil then lexapro) has played a part in it somehow as well.
