Hello again, dear fellows!I case some of you had missed me :) or wondered where I am - I just was on vacations in Protugal (having by the way dramatic cramps flareup and a LOT of pleasure despite on it) and immediately after it went to professional translators' forum in Kazan, Tatatrstan. So life is full, and despite on strong cramps in legs, hands and jaw muscles I anm still fully functional :)))best regards to allYulia

Nice to see you back! I was wondering where you were! Anyway, I'm super happy that you're back. We missed you!I'm sorry to hear about the cramps. Stupid BFS. Anyway, at least you enjoyed your trip :)

Yep, enjoyed greatly. I was making long walks, just with more stops to sit and have a rest. Walking in the ocean was so unusual for me 6) it SMELLS like... quite a man-like :)))Cramps became much easier with magnesium (I wonder why my neuro prescribed me 1 pill per day while in the leaflet the daily dose is 12 pills :))) so no wonder it does not helped me last autumn...

yulia, it is great to have you back! I really enjoy reading your posts and you were a great deal of help even before i joined this forum. Glad you enjoyed your vacation.Chad

Thanks Snookie, thanks Missi! the holidays were excellent, and I still tell myself - Oh Porto Saudade (Oh, unforgettable Porto) and I still have a small bottle of 10 years Calem Porto to drink at special occasions :)))) It was also a real fun and pleasure to meet friends and make some new ones on professional conference in Kazan, a capital of Tatarstan... Kazan is a beautiful city, combining Asian and European look, over 20 universities, some 50+ museums, DaVinchi exposition, famous Kazan Holy Mary and a Child Icon... it was like a dream :)))

thanks Greg, as for the flareup, I think, there was nothing strange in it - two flights (1 hour and 5 hours), hours of waiting in the aeroport, night in a foreign city, then 3 hours by train... then another short train... then climbing up at a steep uphill street with a suitcase... of course I was twitching and cramping :)))) however I managed to do stretch excercises and generally enjoyed the Portugal so much... Porto wine is a great thing. We have wineries here in Ukraine, in Crimea, but alas! they can not match Regua... it was excellent experience for me (I am not a somelier at all, but I was just enjoying the best ever wine in my life).
