Tremor Related Shaking Sensation

Hi all~~ Hope everyone is doing well! I just had a fast question about tremors, I searched this first, so I wouldn't have to start a new topic, but couldn't find what I was looking for. I've been having a generally shaky feeling in my head/neck area that is sort of hard to describe. I can feel it especially when laying down at night. I had the hotspot of my right eye twitching for a long time, and that now has seemed to move to other spots on my head, and I twitch alot on the back of my neck lately. My question is, do any of you, along with the twitching, have a shakiness of your muscles when exerting them in some way? I know that one of the neurological tests that is given sometimes is that one where you blow up your cheeks with air, and I am very anxious about that, because when I do that, my cheeks and lips and just the general area around my face really shakes. Wouldn't that indicate the start at least of some definite weakness? The weird thing is, I notice it shakes more if I lightly blow up my cheeks, then when I fill them as much as I can. I can hold it fairly still then, but I can feel some shaking around my mouth/chin. I was trying it just now, and it feels like it's mostly my lips that are shaking. Also, if I hold a smile, especially a half smile, my cheeks and lips will shake. I've had some increase in the tongue twitching lately too, so I'm very anxious about this. Just wondering if that might be a normal type thing, the shaking when blowing up your cheeks, or is that what they look for with a nmd? Thanks so much, sorry for the new post!! Val

Hi~~ I just wanted to add one more thing, since it was something that just occured. I had been on the phone for a little while, not that long, but I was laying on the bed on my left side with the phone to my left ear, and after getting up, my whole left arm is really shaky. Especially when I put it on my hip, or in certain positions, it's like it is having tremors. I was wondering if any of you, with the bfs and the twitching, also have tremors? I looked around and it doesn't seem like it's that common with bfs. Help, guys, cause I'm about to google it!! I'm refraining from doing that as long as I can, and I should definitely know better. Anyway, it just generally feels like I'm having lots of tremors lately, as I said it's in my neck, and sort of in my back, and my tongue feels weird. I was thinking this might be more of a sign of Parkinsons, but I don't know. Anyway, thanks so much!! Val

Thanks Gelianna for the response! This has been driving me crazy, cause it doesn't feel the same as the other twitches I've been getting. Even when the twitches will drive you nuts, it still is obvious what is going on, it's a twitch. But, this is just generally hard to describe. I especially feel it when I lay down in bed, or just lay on my side to watch tv. It's like a shaky feeling in my neck, like a lot of little pops are going on there. And, then the shaky facial muscles have been increasing for me. However, I do keep putting myself through these "self-tests", which probably don't help things. I was asking my brother to fill his cheeks the other day, and asking if he got tremors, and he said, "No, but that is a weird position for your cheeks to be in, so maybe it's a normal thing to tremor"....the thing is, I need to probably stop obsessing and doing these tests, cause the tremoring is making me nervous, and then of course it's the vicious circle thing. I just have read alot about head and neck emg's, and I was kind of wondering if this is a common place for als to show up, is in the neck area, and the head. Thanks again so much! Val

Have had these symptoms for years and years. Sometimes I notice them more than other times. Maybe sometimes they disappear completely, not sure. They're very common with me. Denise
