Tongue Twitches in BFS

I know that tongue twitches can be the most worrisome for BFS'ers so I thought that I'd start a thread to ask tongue twitchers about their experience. My tongue twitches used to be the zap kind of twitch. Sometimes just one, sometimes many in a row. Clearly felt and clearly visible. Now, I feel like a tingling on my tongue. If I look at my resting tongue in the mirror, the tingling appears as a slight flickering and is almost always followed by a clear twitch right in the middle of my tongue. Its pretty constant, meaning, every time I look at it, it'll twitch. Occasionally, I'll get a fluttering feeling on the sides as well. So for all you tongue twitchers out there, can you describe them? Where are they? How do they feel? How often do you get them? etc.

Exactly as you describe..kinda zap feeling, clearly visible when tongue is resting. Usually few times per day, some days none.

Hello Matt, I hope you’re doing well.My tongue has started to twitch after a few months of body wide twitches… Curiously, it started after I read some disturbing things about tongue fasciculations… However, I don't get them so often and when I do, they only last a few seconds…

Exactly as you describe it. I am also a major in-the-middle-of-tongue-twitcher, not so much a side-twitcher LOL.

I never have single tongue twitches, When I feel that they are here they usually stay longer, sometimes a few hours with about one zap per 2 seconds or so

Thanks for the replies guys. Chrissi, yours and mine sound very much alike. Curious to see if anyone else has had the same experience or if they get a different kind of feeling on their tongue.
