In the last few days my tongue has got super sensitive. The sensation you get when you burn your tongue on something hot. Getting that feeling everytime I eat something. Anyone else experienced that?? hypersensitive nerve endings?cheersRodger

Yes, I have noticed that my tongue is more sensitive. I don't get a burning feeling, it is more like a tingly feeling. Also since this all started, I have had blood blisters on my tongue from eating hard chips. It's like the skin is thinner.Sandra D

I have had it for a couple years now. It does wax and wane. Two things: 1st our tongue is LOADED with nerve fibers. If your like me and have neuropathy type issues your tongue can be one of the most sensitive areas. Most BFS'ers have tongue issues because of this. 2nd Most of the time this is due to acid reflux. When my reflux is bad my tongue is bad also.Hope this helpsDD
