Tired and Numb Mouth, Anxiety Worry

I have over the past few months learnt to accept my twitching, but I sometimes have a off senesation in my mouth. I have had a clear EMG. My mouth sometimes feels a bit numb, or tired, its not difficult to swallow, it just feels different really. Is it anxiety, I am feeling worried that I am right back to square one. I would really appreciate any help. I get twitching all over, including my face, mouth, legs, arms, you name it............ Pls help.

Yes, the culprit most definitely could be anxiety. Unfortunately, when we 1st notice something, the moment we think "Hmm..is this normal..or has this ever happened before"...it sends some unknown signal to the "freak out" part of our brain which makes it impossible to concentrate on anything other than this new symptom. When we concentrate on this new symptom more, we start 2nd guessing ourselves, and wondering even more, wondering leads to worrying, worrying leads to anxiety, anxiety leads to...you guessed it...worse, more, new symptoms. This really is how it works!! :D) You are swallowing normal and not choking on anything...so just keeping thinking what you have been thinking...that you are okay...in fact...even better than okay you are perfectly fine. ;)Editing to: Why in the world dont I proof read BEFORE hitting submit? Pfft!

Just this morning I thought something was wrong with my throat! Turns out my mouth was just dry. It was hot where I live and I just needed a drink. Of course my first thought was something is going on with my throat. As the day wore on everything turned out fine and I was back to normal. It really is your brain playing tricks on you. Relax, your fine.

Sounds like 100% anxiety to me. I hae the same symptom and it is anxiety. It will go away in a day or two if you stop thinking about it. Even if you don't it will go away. It will come back probably too. Hyperventilation when we are not realizing we are doing it usually causes this.

Unfortunately we think we are "ok" with this and we have accepted it but then we get thrown for a loop so easily when something else show up ;) What you are describing sounds like anxiety and possibly some reflux. It does NOT sound like anything to be worried about!! Take a deep breath, relax and stop concentrating on it :D) NOW!! I and I mean it  Be well,Kit
