Hi folks, I know tingling and parasthesia are pretty common amongst bfsers, and a month or so ago I was surprised to come across so many people that get tingling hot spots as well. Right now I have one in my knee, the same place I've gotten them in the past. It has a characteristic that I don't think I've mentioned here though, and I'm interested to see if anyone else gets these...
Instead of constantly tingling, or tingling for a minute then stopping for a minute, etc; this hot spot throbs as if it was on a very slow rhythm. It comes in waves that last for about three seconds, then fade for three seconds, then comes back for three seconds, then fades and so forth. And there is some build up, its not just like on/off, on./off.
As much as I hate tingling, sometimes even more so than twitching, it's making me feel a little better right now because as far as I know, parasthesia is not a symptom of als. Anyone else experience this throbbing tingling (and EyeoftheWild-- no dirty remarks! haha)
