thanks; its really hard to ignore some of this stuff, as much as I try. How long do your tingling episodes last?

And Jenn, thanks for the welcome-- I have been reading these posts so often that I feel like I know so many peoples stories already, it feels good to actually contribute and make contact!

Hey again,

I've had a buzzy feeling in my tongue been on and off for a few days at a time. I've tried to explain it to my Neuro but he seems unconcerned.
As for the other parts like foot etc, I get them all the time and so do heaps of people here. I go through stages where I can ignore whats going on, or maybe it settles for a while, then some times the symptoms drive me insane.

Andy - it is possible to have fasciculations and strange things in the palat and, of course, the tongue. I had the tingling too at the beginning which I now believe were fascics but can't prove that. i also developed sporadic palatal myoclonus which you can tell you have if you have a rythmic clicking sound in the back of your throat. If it ever stops it means it's benign. If it NEVER stops you can have a lesion of some sort in the brain in a specific spot.

Anyway, your symptom onset is indicative of a benign cause so you're in good shape. No worries.
