Tingling/Buzzing Toes - Causes?

Just curious if anyone gets a buzzing or tingly numb sensation in their toes ever. My twitching has been a lot less lately but i have strange sensation in the left pinky toe that is driving me nuts. Im sure walking on my heels and toes isn't helping but i have never had this area affected before and i am just wondering if its more about a sciatic nerve problem or BFS issue. Its lasted about 10 straight days, it is similar to a buzzing feeling i had in my lip several months ago that lasted about 5 weeks. As always appreciate any feedback. Happy Holidays.BW

Hey BW, Merry Christmas!!! Yes I absolutely had the buzzy toe, not only on some occasions with my right pinky toe but with my big toe on some occasions as well.Another BFS normal as far as I'm concerned as I know others have complained of this as well.Take Care BWRobynn :D)

I've definitely had buzzing in my toe as well as many other places. Sometimes it is just a fleeting occurance, and sometimes it sticks around for a few days. The more I think about it, the more it seems to last.....as with many of my symptoms.

Bw2,My opinion is sciatic nerve, but it could be BFS as well. Are you having probs with your sciatic? You would feel it in your hamstring and rear as well, I think. Sometimes a shooting pain up your leg. That was my exp. with sciatica.Best, Runningbear

I regularly experience a tingling sensation and numbness in my pinky toes, particularly after running. I also get numb heels and tingling/numbness elsewhere. Sensory symptoms like this are pretty common, but not everybody on the site experiences them. Whatever causes the hyper excitability in the motor nerves (leading to twitching) also causes the same thing in the sensory nerves (for some people) leading to numbness, itchiness, tingling, etc.

I have on and off numbness, twitching, movement, buzzing, tingling, hyper-sensitivity, burning, heaviness, cramp and aches of feet and toes( amongst other things). If you only have a couple of these, think your self lucky! In time they will become insignificant. BFS BFS BFS...did I say...BFS.cheersHappy xmas!Rodger

Totally totally totally get this. I've had it in my pinky toe, as well as others over the past 5 years. The buzzing sensation has also appeared in many other parts of my body, including my scalp which felt especially weird.
