Tibialis Anterior Twitching: Help!

Hello fellow twitchers, so I've been doing quite well. Still have been twitching nonstop in various places but today I got on here to see if anyone replied to my post about the back of my hand twitching. Then I started reading other posts. I read several that said tibialus anterior twitching is more ominous than others. I twitch there ALL the time. Anyone else. Having slight panic attack... I know I'm nuts but I just need to hear that others twitch there..

You can and should expect any muscle will twitch with BFS. If you believe a specific location is "more ominous" than another, you are wrong. It's that simple. I promise that your panic attack is unjustified. I promise you are nuts. :)

Hi, I suppose it was TwitchyMD's post about his 91 years old grandpa...well, it IS omnious only in connection with his obvious however not very well developed foot drop. or it might be not omnious at all, considering the gentlemen is more than old.do you have any foot drop plus to your long time twitching? No? Have a sigh of relief.

I twitch in t.anterior too. I think you refer to one of the books about ALS which does mention that benign fasciculations do not occur in t.anterior - that is just wrong. Most books say benign fasciculations occur only in lower legs..and we know it is not the case.As for my grandpa..unfortunately ALS is a possibility as he has no sensory involvement, no lower back pain, just widespread (meaning occuring in a lot of places in the same muscle) fasciculations in both t.anterior muscles.
