Thumps and Hotspots: My MND Story

I mainly have the single thumps constantly too, just as you describe. I seem to have anything from 2 - 15 thumps in one place, before it stops and moves directly somewhere else. Have had hotspots where it goes on for days as well though.

I've never seen a neuro (and felt a bit in limbo because of this  ), but I did email the British MND association advice line telling them of my symptoms, and they emphasised weakness was a primary symptom and twitching for months without weakness did not sound like MND.

Robert,
I did not tell my neuro about the constant arch twitches because I don't think they were constant at that time. I have mentioned them since then to my GP and he does not seem to be concerned at all. Actually, I notice that my husbands arches twitch constantly, too. I think it must be pretty common in that area.
