Morning all-Yesterday morning, I developed a massive thumper in my left thigh. I have gotten these in my right one before, but this time it has settled in the left and it is so pronounced, it has kept me up tonight. It is a constant thump, thump, thump, thump… Has anyone ever had one so severe it woke you up and kept you up? This one is the worst one I have had and it's freaking me out. Thanks all-S

Yes I have had the thigh thumpers that have kept me up. Unfortunately it goes with bfs. I have also been woken up by a shoulder thumper that ended up lasting for a week. This stuff is no fun :crying: You will be fine though and It will stop when it wants to. :D) Mary

Yup,I have had massive thigh thumpers that I can easily see through my jeans and massive thumpers that have woken me up and kept me up....annoying as beep.It will pass though as they always do.

Search back on my posts. Back in September I had one like this. It didn't stop for 2 weeks. It has never come back in that area, but I got the same one in the other leg about 1 month ago. It lasted 2 days. Totaly normal, and annoying.

The big ones are the most benign beleive it or not. They are the ones that you don't even have to question. It's the little ones that look like rippling water that can be questionsable. Of course that is only before your Neuro says you are ok.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It's been a long night and I have to fly overseas today, so not feeling particularly refreshed. In late January/early February, I experienced a very similar thumper in my right thigh that lasted 2 weeks. Historically, I usually have some time in between these hotspots and right now it seems I am getting slammed with them—one right after the other. As I sit, I can see my pants going up and down. Sleeping was impossible. I lathered on some Origins Leg Lifts, made an ice pack, and took a clonazepam. Still, only slept in hour spurts. Sean
