Anyone? I know its hard to say, but e.g. have it waken you up? Or did you wake up and anything was twitching? Happened to me like 3x in last few weeks. Today I had a dream about terribly twitching thigh..woke up and it was twitching like mad and is like that since then..hope it will stop..

hi twitchy doc, i have been woken up by really strong twitching in my thenar muscle near my thumb...also have been woken by thigh twitches and back twitches.... :D)

My wife says i twitch every bit as much through the night when i'm asleep. Shes been known to place a bolster pillow down the side so my outer leg doesnt touch hers as she says it can keep her awake. Undulates and ripples was her description, as for me i'll only wake when i got cramping. :)

Hi,my right tricep is bothering lately, it twitches after every movement and strenght. And yes it wakes me up several times during the night.

My twitching does not awake me at night while I sleep. However, as soon as I wake up and open my eyes in the morning I stretch and then usually get a multi fire fascic in either my shoulder, quad or this morning, my left calf. Always random, always happening. If I do wake up from sleep due to a dream or a normal evening awakening, I usually can immediately tell the fascics are still going in my legs.

Whenever I wake whether in the middle of the night or in the morning I notice the twitches right away. I too have had dreams about twitching but I think that was the anxiety messing with my head.

My husband, who swears he doesn't twitch abnormally, out-twitches me at night. Not just the big jerks you get while you sleep either. I was watching his hand last night and he had all kinds of little twitches at the side and one that kept moving his pinky back and forth. His shoulder also has lots of twitches in it too while he sleeps. Weird though, they don't do it during the day. He says I don't twitch when I sleep. Who knows?

In the beginning of BFS I had a lot of myoclonic jerks at night (sleep starts) that kept me awake all night. Mostly my feet, often hands. I was like a zombie. Nowadays it is much better; only if I sleep on my back I get jerks. However, I do still wake up with hands and arms falling asleep, just like JohnnyRocket described.

yes my thigh woke me up last night, gave me awful anxiety! Along with tiny twitching I fealt a sharp pinches it scared me so bad. oh well I guess just another night in paradise of this crap! ash
